Gezellig offers an intimate yet lively setting for corporate dining or special occasions on our stunning mezzanine level overlooking our elegant main floor dining room and offering stunning and unique views of the heart of Westboro. Our large group area is perfect for seated groups of up to 30 guests, or standing cocktail receptions for up to 50. If a more private setting is required, our mezzanine also features a four-layer, floor-to-ceiling, sound-proof curtain which can be drawn for complete privacy. Complimentary amenities that we offer with our private bookings include a sound system that accommodates iPod playlists, as well as a 55" HD LCD TV screen with high speed internet and mac or pc compatibility for those groups who would like to make visual presentations. A private washroom is also located on the mezzanine level.
For private dining on the mezzanine, guests are seated in custom layouts including up to 20 guests at a single board room style, or across 3 tables of up to ten guests each, situated back-to-back to enjoy a 3 course table d'hôte menu designed by our chef, all served with wines paired to match your taste and budget. We offer lunch table d'hôte menus of either two or three courses, depending on the duration and budget of the event. For standing cocktail receptions up to 45 guests, we can offer the chef's finest seasonal creations as passed canapés with wines paired suit your budget and style.
While there is no rental charge for the dining room, there are food and beverage minimums required which vary depending on the day of the week and season. A room charge will be added to the bill when the minimums are not met with normal consumption. Please note that we will add a 17% gratuity charge and then a 13% HST charge to your final food and beverage total after the minimum has been met.
Our food and beverage minimums are as follows:
Sunday to Wednesday ~ $1,000.00, plus gratuity and tax
Thursday ~ $2,000.00, plus gratuity and tax
Friday & Saturday ~ $3,000.00, plus gratuity and tax
Lunches & brunch:
Private brunch bookings are available on Sundays with a food and beverage minimum of $500, plus tax and gratuity. Private lunch bookings are also available Monday through Sunday with no food and beverage minimum. .
